Well, since I already intended to have Seven Hours and FLUX intertwine somewhat… I’m still going to work on FLUX. Seven Hours is just going to be my RPG practice game.What I don’t understand is how FLUX “rips off” other fangames. Sure, I used a couple chipset items. Number one: If this is about Ubuu, Uboachan has always been ass-hole breeding grounds, so don’t let them get you down.Number two: I don’t think anybody cared about the neon world, and I don’t think that that is what they’re talking about. I mean, I personally don’t get why they call it a rip off, but if they do, I don’t see it myself.
Number three: I think having a meme, or a reference here and there is perfectly fine, but if you saw my “Let’s Play” thing for it, I, myself, just mentioned that it seemed out of place for a mental patient to say it. And it seemed like a lot of other references.
Number four: I think that the main complaint about it was that it was too short and you used too many placeholders. It’s your game, Rindre, and you’re the one who will, in the end, decide how it is. I could give you a list of things that I like about the game. I loved the opening, myself. The game just needed to be a bit bigger, have less placeholders, and the Montblanc world should have been spread out, that’s all! It was a premature release, but that is OKAY. You can make it up in version 0.01. People expect you to make mistakes in the demo. They told you to work hard on it! And that is what you should do. This shouldn’t be discouraging.
This should be a drive to work harder and blow everyone’s socks off. If you want to quit because of people, that is your choice, by all means. But for the sake of people like me, who want to see if you step up to the potential of your game and make it fantastic, you shouldn’t.
